Fall Foliage Pre-Ride at The Grant

It's finally time to get the Fall Foliage Trail Series started! And we have Merrell on board to crown the Merrell Trail Masters of 2015!

Come join us for a pre-ride or pre-run of the course for the first Fall Foliage Trail Series event at the Grant in Willowsford (23400 Evergreen Mills Road, Aldie, VA 20105) on Wednesday, September 16 from 5 pm to 7 pm. Please arrive by 4:45 pm to start riding/running at 5 pm. You can access the trail between 5 pm and 7 pm.

This location is on private property and can only be accessed during organized events unless you are a resident. Check in with a Rev3 Adventure representative before riding or running. We will be stationed at the trailhead (see Map). The trails will be lightly marked. See below for driving directions.

This trail is smooth and fast! One loop (Newbie division) is approximately 6 miles. Route can be found here.

  3. Continue down Everfield Drive through the first traffic island.

  4. Take a right on Homestead Landing Court.

Pre-Run/Ride Parking

Continue down Homestead Landing and take the gravel road on the left at the end and park at the trailhead. If there are no spaces, park along the gravel road or along the paved section of Homestead Landing Ct. Watch out for runners and riders!

Next Tuesday, we’ll send out all the race-day info you’ll need about the first race in our three-weekend trail series, but if you have any questions before that, check Facebook and our website.

Please spread the word that we offer online registration and race-day registration for the October 17 event at the Greens and the October 31 event at Fountainhead. We can take cash, check, and credit cards on site. We also are looking for people to help marshal the course and run aid stations. Volunteers are very much appreciated by all—organizers and racers alike. To show our gratitude, Rev3 Adventure will give all volunteers an event T-shirt and a $20 code toward any of our other races in 2015. Volunteers can sign up here. Staff and racers will be super grateful!

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Thanks,

The Rev3 Adventure team
