Adventure Enablers's extensive portfolio of outdoor events offers life-enriching outdoor activities for extreme athletes, weekend warriors, and casual health enthusiasts of all ages. We host marathons, 10Ks, 5Ks, glow runs, adventure races (family races to multiple-day expedition races), mountain bike races, and trail runs—something for everyone. Each event is designed to unleash the adventurer within. Our goal is for each of our events to be fun, empowering, and something participants will want to do again.

With extensive event experience and the complementary equipment and logistics skills, the Adventure Enablers team partners with charities, property owners, businesses, cities, states, you name it, to bring high-quality and fun events that are family friendly, endurance based, goal achieving, and adventure enabling.

Adventure Enablers formerly was known as Rev3 Adventure. We changed our name in January 2017 because we felt it better encapsulated our goals and vision for our company and participants.

Adventure Enablers

Adventure Enablers (formerly Rev3 Adventure) mixes outdoor sports into a challenging and exciting experience. Mountain biking, trail running, trekking, and water sports are built off a navigation foundation, making for an outdoor multisport cocktail that brings out individual and team dynamics never before experienced. From events that last just a few hours to multiday races, Adventure Enablers caters to both beginner and experienced participants. Vetted courses, good maps, great venues, and a fun and safe environment are key components of every Adventure Enablers event.

Peanuts Run & Ride

In a nationwide partnership with Cedar Fair Entertainment Company and Peanuts, we deliver half marathons, 10K/quarter marathon, 5K, and 1-mile runs through some of the country's best amusement parks. And we provide the most thrilling swag around—a day on the rides! (

The Adventure Enablers

Mark Harris - Race Director

Having grown up in the mountains of South Wales, UK, Mark has always had a passion for the outdoors. His family ran an outdoor education center where mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, caving, and other outdoor pursuits were a part of everyday life. After teaching climbing at a camp in Pennsylvania for two summers, Mark moved to the States to be with his summer love, Margo and the rest is history.

Mark is the primary race director for the Cameco Cowboy Tough, a 3.5-day expedition race through Wyoming, the Run & Ride half marathon race series held at multiple Cedar Fair amusement parks, and the Shenandoah Epic Adventure Weekend, one of the largest adventure racing events in the country.

Mark lives in Front Royal, Virginia with his wife, Margo, and their two children.

Margo Harris - Communications

While growing up as the youngest of five in Tennessee, Margo developed a love for adventure under the high-octane tutelage of her older brothers. While earning her Journalism & Mass Communication degree from UNC (Go Heels!), she worked as a summer camp counselor in the Poconos, where she first met her ropes course and climbing wall colleague and future husband up in a tree. After getting married, earning a masters in English from George Mason University, having two awesome kids, and working as a full-time and freelance editor, she took on her next adventure--becoming the Director of Communications for the family business. Margo thinks she may have found her calling--she loves seeing familiar faces at events, meeting the folks who've emailed with questions, getting to know first-time participants, and seeing racers achieve their goals and glow with pride. She also loves putting her journalistic skills to work keeping everyone informed in ALL the ways--website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, email, phone, you name it. When Margo is not working at a race or on a field watching her kids play sports, she continues to nurture a love for the mountains and outdoor activities, from hiking to paddling to rock climbing, right outside their back door in Front Royal, Virginia.
