Time for the Bartram Wildwood Adventure Weekend!

Dear Adventure Racers:

The November 7-8 Bartram’s Wildwood Epic Weekend is only a week away! We have more than 150 teams and soloists taking part in one of the three great adventures we have planned for you. (Click here to see who is racing.) What follows is information you’ll need to know for race day.

Packet Pickup

At packet pickup you will receive your T-shirt, maps, rules of travel, and race number. During packet pickup the team captain must be present, all forms must be completed for every team member, and USARA membership fees must be paid (if applicable). We will not give you your race packet until we have all the forms for all your team members in hand. Epic: Friday November 6, 4:00PM-6:30PM, Packet pickup at Wildwood Park at the Pro Disk Golf Association clubhouse off Dogwood Ln at Wildwood Park (3828 Dogwood Ln, Appling, GA 30802). (Mandatory pre-race brief at 7:00 pm at Wildwood Park at the Pro Disk Golf Association clubhouse. TA opens at 7:00 am race morning.)

Strong and Tenderfoot: Option of early packet pickup on Friday (11/6) from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Pro Disc Golf Association off Dogwood Ln at Wildwood Park (3828 Dogwood Ln, Appling, GA 30802) or race-day packet pickup at the race start line opening at 8:00 AM.

If you have not signed your waiver online, please click on the links, print, sign, and bring the waivers to packet pickup to save tons of time during the registration process.

[if !supportLists]· [endif]Liability waiver and photo release (Must be completed by all racers before race packets are distributed to the team)

[if !supportLists]· [endif]USARA one-day membership and USARA release form (Must be completed by all racers before race packets are distributed to the team)

All racers are required to purchase a race-day USARA membership for $8.00, show proof of having a valid USARA membership, or purchase a year membership ($35). Please bring exact change or check.

Watercraft

Strong & Epic Racers, you may rent watercraft or bring your own. If you do not have a watercraft reserved on the roster we currently do not have a boat for you and assume you are bringing your own watercraft to the race.

If you rent a boat: Watercrafts are available for rent for $15 per team member. Click here to reserve your watercraft, which will include paddle and PFD. We will have a variety of solo kayaks, tandem kayaks, and canoes, and you are guaranteed one of the items listed if you reserve one online. When you arrive at the water section of the race it will be on a first-come, first-choice basis.

If you bring your own boat: You may bring your own watercraft and drop it in the transition area near the boat launch next to the rented boats at the end of Dogwood Ln. Personal boats will have their own staging area. You can drop off Friday night after 4:00 PM or Saturday morning before 8:00 AM.

Tenderfoot Racers will have a stand-up paddleboard challenge. SUPs, paddles, and PFDs are reserved and ready to go for your race. You do not need to rent watercraft or accessories.

Race Location

Wildwood Park 3780 Dogwood Lane Appling, GA 30802
