Join us at this awesome new race venue, a private farm generously provided by the Burke family and wonderfully maintained by the Culpeper Area Mountain Bike Organization (CAMBO)! The CAMBO XC is a race over challenging single track for all levels, offering awesome tight, twisty, single track and a mix of log obstacles, bridges, creek crossings, steep climbs, and some rock gardens. Fun stuff.

We have two slightly different courses for the different classes. The beginners will take on a shorter, less technical route, whereas the Experts and Sport class will get to tackle some more of the technical features and ride a longer lap.

Morning course

Super Beginner class and Young Warriors will ride 1 lap (5 miles).

Super beginners are riders who have never raced before or have only just started mountain biking in the past 12 months.

Beginner class will ride 2 laps (10 miles).

Afternoon course
Experts class will ride 3 laps (approx. 22 miles)

Sport class will ride 2 laps (approx. 14 miles)

The Bike Stop out of Warrenton, VA will be on site to help out with any bike mechanical needs.

About CAMBO (Culpeper Area Mountain Bike Org)

CAMBO is a mountain biking club based in Culpeper, Va. About 200+ members strong, we maintain 10 miles of single track on Deer Springs Farm in Rixeyville. The trails consist of beginner-friendly track through open fields, to twisting, rooty, wooded track, to steep, rocky, technical expert trails.  Every Thursday night at 7pm (weather permitting) we get together for a “no-drop”, conversational-pace group ride. We stop often on this ride to keep the group together. And it usually ends with a few hot dogs and burgers on the grill.

You must be a current member of CAMBO in order to access the property at Deer Springs Farm. Memberships are $25 a year for adults, and $10 a year for juniors (under 18 at the date of sign up).  Helmets are also required at Deer Springs.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at cambomtb@gmail.com
